How to solve this burnt taste when vaping on a new atomizer head?

The current situation: I love my nautilus it's great. However I just put a new coil in there for the first time and it completely changed the flavor of my juice. And it didn't change it for the better. It has a strange off taste to it now, I hate it. Not sure what is going on. It kind of tastes like the wick may be burnt, which I'm not sure how that happened. When I first got it I just filled with fluid and vaped away with no problems. This time it seems as if the fluid maybe didn't make it to the coil in time and it got a burnt taste to it. I got a premium nautilus tank on official authorized distributor website.

The possible solution: put a small drop of eliquid onto the cotton inside the head before vaping a new head. then prime is by taking 6-8 small puffs and letting it sit for 5 min. foolproof way of avoiding any burning, even though it doesn't happen often.

Also you should make sure to check if the ohms are the same on your new and old head they make them in different sizes (and sometimes are even mislabeled) sometimes if you are using a VV battery and your Atty resistance changes it will give you a burnt taste.
